Firearm Safety Training Courses of Western New York 

      Our New York State (NYS) Concealed Carry Pistol Permit Course, also known as the NYS 18 Hour Concealed Carry Firearm Pistol Permit Class or the Concealed Carry Improvement Act (CCIA), is now required by all New York State residents. For this Course we provide all supplies including handguns, ammunition, targets, and holsters.

     Course subjects address fundamentals of safe and accurate shooting, live fire and Range Safety training, Personal Protection fundamentals, situational awareness, conflict de-escalation, Local, State and Federal Laws, dealing with authorities, permit application assistance, the legal and moral aspects of gun ownership and 9 + hours of law review.    

      Western New York locations include Franklinville Conservation Club, Olean Rod and Gun Club, Wellsville Rod and Gun Club, Rushford Lake Conservation Club, Scio Rod and Gun Club, Andover Rod and Gun Club, and Bath Rod and Gun Club. 

     We also offer other Safety Courses for all skill levels from basic to veteran, including Personal Protection Inside and Outside the Home, Self Defense Tactics, and separate Courses in Essential or Advanced Handgun, Essential or Advanced Shotgun, and Essential or Advanced Rifle.

      We have a wide variety of firearms Courses, including handguns, rifles, and shotguns. All Instructor Trainers are certified by New York State Police, all Western N Y Sheriff Departments, and the National Rifle Association. Courses cover all Counties of Western New York – Erie, Cattaraugus, Allegany, Steuben, Chautauqua, Livingston, Wyoming, Monroe, Chemung, Niagara, Genesee, Broome, Orleans, and Ontario.
