The Extensive Handgun Course is directed towards all levels of experience from beginners to seasoned shooters who want to improve their shooting skills using professional training. This Course is offered for both current permit and non-permit holders.
fourteen + hours of professional instruction include topics such as:
- Developing consistent, shooting accuracy
- Fundamentals of accurate shooting
- Safe handling in and outside the home
- Six+ hours of live fire training
- Handgun purchase and calibers
- Basics of handgun parts and function
- Importance of proper selection and use of ammunition
- Presentations on various types and calibers of handguns
- Review of current laws on handguns
- Special sessions for current owners- instruction on personal handgun
- 22 Handguns will be provided, you may bring your own
A pistol permit is not required for this Course; however, you must be 21 years or older and present a photo I.D.
Students are required to bring: 200+ rounds 22 LR ammo, eye protection, ear (MUFF TYPE ONLY) protection, dress for the weather, bring food and drink.
